Charter FAQ

Bali yacht charter questions, answered plainly

Prices, booking, seasons and life on board: what guests ask most before a private yacht day or week in Bali.

On board

House rules at sea.

Policies differ from yacht to yacht; these are the norms. Confirm the specifics for your vessel when you book.

Boarding
Check-in is at a designated marina, such as Benoa, where the paperwork is completed. Times vary by yacht.
Footwear
Soft-soled, non-marking shoes or sandals. Many yachts prefer bare feet to protect the deck.
Food and drink
Bringing your own is often allowed, though some yachts set restrictions or a corkage fee. Alcohol is generally permitted, in moderation.
Smoking
Many yachts keep a designated smoking area; others are entirely non-smoking.
Crew languages
Crews typically speak English, and some speak other languages. Ask in advance if you need one.
Changing plans
Extensions and one-way charters are possible, subject to yacht availability and logistics. Raise them as early as you can.
