The worked example
Seven days, as we have run them.
Six adults and two teenagers, mid-July, arriving and leaving by private jet. A representative arc, not a sales itinerary.
- Day 1 · Bukit
- Fast-track on the ramp, a Mercedes V-Class to a five-bedroom cliffside villa with infinity pool. In-villa massage, the chef’s seafood dinner.
- Day 2 · Mount Agung
- A Bell 429 from the villa helipad at 08:30: a 50-minute loop to the Agung crater rim. Coached surf at Padang-Padang or Bingin, yoga for the rest.
- Day 3 · Ubud
- A 22-minute flight to a four-bedroom rice-terrace estate. A private water-purification ritual, an old-quarter walk, an exclusive back room for dinner.
- Day 4 · Ubud, no transit
- A deliberate rest day: sound healing and breathwork, two-hour treatments, cycling or a cooking class, an eight-course dinner.
- Day 5 · Lembongan
- A 24-minute flight to Benoa and a 100-foot motor yacht with three guest cabins. Snorkelling at Manta Point, the night at anchor.
- Day 6 · Nusa Dua
- A morning snorkel, then a 28-minute scenic flight back. A private area at a beach club, two nights in a third villa near the airport.
- Day 7 · Departure
- An artist’s studio in Mas and a silversmith in Celuk for those who want them, then fast-track to the jet.
Common variants
Four ways the week changes.
- Komodo: a two-night phinisi extension replaces the Lembongan night, nine nights in all
- Sumba: two nights at NIHI between Days 4 and 5, about 90 minutes’ flight each way
- Wellness: a partner retreat visit and an evening cacao ceremony replace Day 4
- Culture: a private gallery viewing in Sayan and a gamelan performance replace part of Day 6
Each variant adds 12–25% to the cost of the base week.
Why the arc works
Air time replaces road time.
Flying between regions cuts the week’s transit from about 14 hours on the road to about 75 minutes in the air.
The density is deliberate: enough flights to save time, not so many that they tire, and one mid-week day with no transit for children and principals over 60.
