What to pack for a Bali luxury charter
Warm all year, humid and sun-strong. Pack light, protect your skin, and bring clothes for temples and evenings ashore.

Wardrobe
Dress for deck, temple and dinner.
Natural fibres breathe and dry quickly. Bali’s wet season runs October–April and the dry season May–September; it stays warm in both.
- On deck
- Loose linen, cotton and rayon: airy dresses, kaftans, linen shirts, tailored shorts. A light rain jacket in the wet season.
- Temples
- Shoulders and knees covered: a sarong (kain) and sash (selendang), sleeved tops, long skirts or linen trousers. Sarongs rent at the gate for about IDR 10,000–20,000.
- Evenings ashore
- Smart casual in Seminyak, Canggu and Ubud: sundresses, jumpsuits, collared shirts, smart trousers, loafers or dress sandals. No T-shirts or flip-flops.
- Walking ashore
- Comfortable sandals or closed-toe shoes: temple grounds have uneven paths and many steps.

Snorkel equipment is typically provided on board. Malaria risk is low in tourist areas, but dengue is present, so repellent is essential.
Documents
A passport with at least six months’ validity from your departure date.
Many nationalities qualify for a Visa-on-Arrival, about USD 35 (IDR 500,000), valid 30 days and extendable once. Check your nationality early, and keep digital copies of every document.
